Meet Dr. Elise Borja

Elise M. Borja, D.D.S.

Dr. Elise Borja grew up in the Holy Hill area, surrounded by dentistry as a profession; her father is a dentist, and her mother is a dental hygienist. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a focus in Chemistry before earning her dental degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry. After school, she completed a general practice residency at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, OR, where she gained valuable experience working with patients with special needs and treating patients in a hospital setting.

During her school years, Dr. Elise was on swimming and diving team which led to building relationships with inspiring teammates and lifelong friends – something she continues to appreciate, even in dentistry. She also helped lead November Project MIlwaukee, a free fitness community, during her final year of dental school. Now, Dr. Borja is glad to be practicing dentistry in her home state and to bring her talents to our community!

In her spare time, Dr. Elise likes to run, bike, bake and hang out with her dog, Auggie. She occasionally plays piano and recently picked up ukulele, a hobby Auggie wasn’t too pleased with. When she’s not on the move or outdoors, Dr. Elise enjoys coffee, reading and cross-stitch.
