Margaret M. Houting, D.D.S.
Dr. Margaret Houting is a Wauwatosa native and daughter of Dr. Fred LaCourt, co-founder of Generations Family Dental. Dr. Houting wanted to follow in her dad’s footsteps and join a profession focused on caring for people and building lasting relationships.
Dr. Houting attended Marquette University for her undergraduate degree, majoring in Biomedical Sciences. She continued her education at Marquette University School of Dentistry, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating Cum Laude.
After graduating from dental school, she moved to Kansas City to begin her dental career and support her husband’s career in the Air Force.
Dr. Houting believes being a healthcare provider is an important role in the community, not only caring for patients’ oral health, but also supporting their overall well-being. She understands the importance of trust in the dental chair and focuses on providing exceptional care, having learned from the best—her dad!
In her free time, Dr. Houting enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. She also enjoys running, cooking, and making memories with her family.
