Exceptional Dental Technologies

Digital X-Rays

Without an x-ray dentists would have no way of recognizing an infection or pathology or its course of treatment. At Generations Family Dental, we use state of the art digital radiography that allows us to take x-rays using up to 90% less radiation than conventional film x-rays. Using this technology, our dentists are able to take a picture of your mouth by using a small sensor that records an image that can be used to better diagnose each patient and the treatment for every case.

Intraoral Camera

Our dentists offices use intraoral cameras as an additional way to examine the condition of your mouth in as much detail as possible. Intraoral cameras are small, pen-like cameras that allow our dentists to find small diseased areas, worn metal fillings, cracks, and chips with immense accuracy. The advanced technology sends the full-color images to a computer where the dentists analyze and diagnose any dental problems earlier than with traditional dental technology. Our patients are also able to see the areas being worked on, which allows for better understanding of the dental procedures being performed. We want our patients to have a complete understanding of their condition and intraoral cameras allow for complete transparency.

Same Day Crowns

Dental crowns are a great way to restore teeth that have been structurally compromised due to decay or trauma. Made of very strong porcelain, they look and feel like natural teeth. With advanced modern technology we are able to offer you crowns in a single visit! This allows for a more convenient and comfortable appointment by taking a digital impression of your teeth with a state of the art scanner. The in-house milling unit then fabricates a lab quality restoration using fast and accurate technology.

3D Imaging

We utilize top-of-the-line technology at Generations Family Dental – like full 3D imaging!

Our office proudly features the KaVo OP 3D™ Pro, a cone beam 3D imaging system that allows our dentists to benefit from clear, high-quality imaging and determine an accurate diagnosis for each and every patient.

Want to see the results of your 3D imaging? Don’t worry – we’ll show you! With a large display screen, your dentist will show you exactly what’s going on with your teeth in full detail, so you understand exactly why certain recommendations or treatments may be necessary. The entire 3D imaging process is safe, comfortable, and better for the environment, too!
